About Ameren Services (B&CS)Ameren Services provides administrative support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries and affiliates. Ameren Services includes a wide range of skill sets and roles, from finance and legal experts to digital and cyber specialists, plus those charged with ensuring environmental compliance and operational safety. Together, we help execute a strategy that enables Ameren to deliver superior long-term value to customers, shareholders and the environment.Assist engineers in the areas of planning, designing, budgeting, and managing projects related to the operation, maintenance, and construction of physical facilities managed by Building Service. Key areas of responsibility may include:
Perform engineering project management work which includes preparing budget estimates, and overseeing project execution.
Assist engineers with evaluations and reviews of project plans, drawings, and specifications prepared by outside consultants for conformance to Ameren standards, specifications, policies, applicable codes, regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
Provide on-site field management and direction for contractors with respect to construction of new facilities or modifications and maintenance to existing facilities.
Provide engineering assistance and technical support to other Building Service team members and other Ameren departments.
Interact with vendors, contractors, and architects/engineering firms.
Provide technical support for maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial building systems.
This position will be primarily located in an office environment, with some construction site visits which could involve outside activities.POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation: Must be an undergraduate of Junior or Senior student status in an Electrical, Mechanical from an accredited college or university required. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.Experience: Strong Microsoft Office skills preferred. Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus, but not required.Other: Must be a self-starter with attention to detail and possess problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, communication, human relation, and computer skills. Must be adaptable and flexible. Ability to work in teams or independently on projects required.
