At Watson Health, we work to improve lives and give hope by delivering innovation to address the world’s most pressing health challenges through data and cognitive insights.Watson Health helps life sciences companies take advantage of real world evidence and augmented intelligence with solutions that span Discovery, Development and Commercialization of products, services and solution in the pharmaceutical, and medical technology/device industry.The Sales Manager Life Sciences - Americas, Watson Health position will lead direct and indirect sales for the high-growth Watson Health Life Sciences segment in the Americas and be responsible for the entire Life Sciences product portfolio – Marketscan, Explorys, eClinical, and emerging AI solutions as available for Life Science clients to run on the Watson Health Cloud Platform. The leader in this role will manage a team of sellers in the Watson Health Life Sciences business. This is an exciting and emerging business, requiring its leader to be agile in response to market trends and offering traction. The leader will work with sales leadership, delivery and offering management to execute sales strategy and will be responsible for achieving team revenue/signings targets. The sales manager will be responsible for working with the team to develop and manage a sales pipe based on the Watson Health portfolio. In addition, the sales manager will be responsible for setting performance goals and issuing performance challenges for the team of sellers.

Demonstrated leadership and Business Results within and knowledge of the Life Sciences/Healthcare industry (5+ years)

Demonstrated sales leadership experience, including management of large, distributed teams (5 years minimum).

Demonstrated experience in building high performance teams.

Demonstrated experience in business development, pipeline management, and communication of business results.

Thought leader in the Life Sciences/Healthcare space.

High degree of sales strategy and organizational strategy skills.

SaaS and services experience preferred.
