PART-TIME LINE/PREP COOK

Cafe Piazza is looking to hire an experienced Line/Prep Cook. Applicants must have knowledge of cooking and kitchen equipment, be organized, motivated, have problem solving abilities, must be friendly, hardworking, team oriented, honest, comfortable with food and liquor service. Must be available to work consistently, have a positive attitude at all times and be an excellent communicator. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 50lbs or more. This position will require walking, standing, and bending during long hours. Ability to withstand high temperatures produced from the ovens and ranges. 18 years and older only to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Learning all menu items and having the ability to properly cook and plate them. Learn or know the functionality of the kitchen. Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in accordance with MDH standards. Daily prepping, handling and storing of ingredients to include but not limited to sauces, vegetables, and proteins. Keeping accountability of prep items to include but not limited to pizza dough. Experience hand tossing pizza dough is a big plus. Safe food certification is a big plus.

Cafe Piazza is open from 11am-10pm Monday through Thursday, 11am to 12pm Fridays, 10am to 12pm Saturdays, and 10am to 9pm Sundays.
