We are a growing practice looking to add a front office chiropractic assistant. The following are the duties of the position.
-Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using office systems
- Manage patient records and update information in the electronic health record system.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits and maintain cleanliness and organization
- Educate patients on chiropractic care and answer basic questions about treatment plans
Experience:
- Previous experience as a chiropractic assistant, dental receptionist, medical receptionist, or front desk personnel is preferred but not necessary
- Familiarity with office systems and phone systems is required
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is a plus
- Knowledge of chiropractic or healthcare terminology is beneficial but not necessary
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively
- Strong organizational abilities to manage patient records, appointment scheduling, and office tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in maintaining patient information and billing processes
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
