Art Shop Assistant, Full Time Position
Creative Visions is seeking a full-time Art Shop Assistant. This is an entry level position, prior experience is not required.
The Art Shop Assistant position was designed to assist the Artists and Fabricators to complete client projects. The Art Shop Assistant is responsible for cleaning the work spaces, and stocking the materials and supplies required by the Artists and Fabricators. When needed, the Art Shop Assistant will serve as an extra set of hands and potentially be trained on our processes. This position can lead to a promotion.
Responsibilities Include:
- Janitorial (sweeping, emptying trash, maintaining organized work spaces)
- Stocking inventory
- Project assistance
- Assist with shipping and receiving
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Heavy lifting (50+ lbs)

Additional useful skills:
- Welding
- Carpentry
- Sculpting
- Familiarity with fiberglass work
- Scenic painting
Compensation:
- $15/hour (1099 - can switch to W2 after 30 days)
- Weekly pay
- Direct deposit
The Creative Visions shop is located at 5661 Natural Bridge Ave., St. Louis, MO 63120.
