Mediquip Parts Plus, Inc. is a small family-owned business that sells parts for medical equipment. Currently, we have an available position in our Electronics department. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
Qualifications:
· Receive job order direction from supervisor or lead.
· Use approved materials to encapsulate/insulate/protect electrical connections/components.
· Assemble parts/components in accordance with document-controlled instructions.
· Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needs
· Ability to read schematic drawings and knowledge of troubleshooting, test and repair techniques.
· Reads wiring diagrams, assembly drawings/renderings, and receives verbal instructions regarding work assignment.
· Installs components and parts such as switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors, ballasts, and semiconductor circuits on panels, and other units.
· Routes and attaches wires and connectors to form circuitry and connects assembly to power supply sources, switch panels, or junction boxes. Attaches hardware and seals assembly.
· Examines parts for defects: both visual (chips, scratches) and operational
· Tests unit to locate defects, measure performance, determine need for adjustment and verify specified operation.
· Replaces defective component and wiring.
· Assembles and calibrates fixture according to specifications.
· Fabricates electrical components and systems that include but are not limited to wiring harnesses.
· Schematic reading and knowledge of electrical/electronic circuitry is essential.
· Previous knowledge and experience with multimeters, voltmeters, HiPot test equipment, and oscilloscope preferred
· Ability to use shop and hand tools to work on equipment.
