Floor Technician Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Complete floor-care services including: scrubbing, stripping and waxing of hard surface floors, buffing floors, bonneting carpets, extracting carpets, etc. Includes the use of high and low speed machines.
Perform general janitorial duties including sweeping and mopping floors, general restroom cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks with helping team with cleaning duties where needed.
Self-inspecting work, attention to detail.
Reporting building cleaning conditions to management and communicate changes, progress or problem areas.
Transport equipment to and from job with company-provided vehicle.
Providing excellent customer service to our customers.
Floor Technician Requirements:
Knowledge and experience of floor care work required:
Experience with performing all 3 processes involved in caring for VCT flooring (Stripping and waxing, Scrub and re-coating, and high speed buffing).
Working knowledge of basic floor care equipment (Low speed and high speed scrubbers, Auto scrubbers,etc.) and a willingness to learn new floor cleaning equipment and techniques.
Solid, basic knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals, techniques, pads, brushes, etc.
Flexibility between floor crew and janitorial tasks when needed
Lift/Pull at least 75 lbs.
Valid drivers license with clean driving record and reliable transportation to the home office in Sunset Hills.

Stable Job history
Must be able to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks
Floor technicians must be capable of driving a company vehicle and inspecting quality of their own work.
Must be able to work an 8-hour shift.

Full -Time Floor Technician's:
St. Louis area, Monday - Friday, Up to $13.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
2nd Shift; Start time is 4:30pm - until the job is complete! Must be available for 8+ hr. shifts.
