Job Summary:
The Production Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a production environment. Duties include assembling products, operating machinery, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety protocols. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery or assist machine operators in production tasks
Assemble, package, and label products according to specifications
Load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or using equipment
Conduct quality checks to identify and remove defective items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area
Follow safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents
Assist with inventory counts and documentation
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Basic understanding of safety and manufacturing processes
Attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy materials
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
