Job Title: Shop helper
Job Category: Skilled laborer in an iron fabrication shop

Job Description: Primary responsibility will be to assist the fabricators in the shop with pulling materials, grinding welds, assisting the painter, and possibly assist the install crews periodically. We are a custom fabricator of iron railings, gates and fencing, etc. Experience with power hand-tools like grinders and sanders and experience MIG welding would be a plus, but not a requirement. The ability to lift heavy items when necessary, the stamina to be on your feet while doing most if not all your tasks, would be important to performing job requirements. A valid drivers license and a clean driver motor vehicle record is a must as you will run errands with company vehicle to pick up materials at our subcontractors. High School diploma or GED preferred.
Hours/Shifts: M-F, 6:00-3:30 (3:30 stop time includes 1 hour overtime per day typically)
Weekends: Saturdays are rare
Pay and Benefits: $18.00-21.00/hr (commensurate with experience)
