Our company is looking for a full-time Packaging and Assembly Associate to join our team. No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Packager Job Responsibilities:
Picking product;
Counting items for order;
Labeling and packaging items;
Organizing orders.
Assembler Job Responsibilities:
Produces components by assembling parts.
Reads and deciphers assembly instructions.
Positions or aligns components and parts manually.
Uses common hand tools to assemble parts.
Conducts quality control checks.
Cleans and maintains work area.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
Resolves assembly problems by notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, and notifying supervisor or low stock.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Skills/Qualifications/Strength/Physical Demands:
Average physical stamina and strength
Safety management mindset
Focus on quality control
Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
Color vision is required
Must have steady hands and good eyesight (with or without glasses).
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Regularly required to sit for long periods of time while tasks are being performed.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
No previous manufacturing experience required
Requirements:
On-time & reliable;
Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions;
Flexible with meeting order needs;
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
