Saint Louis City resident preferred for general apartments maintenance. Full time,benefits including paid holidays , vacation and insurance packages including IRA w/ employer match. (effective after 90 days)
Maintenance Technician Description (includes but not limited to):
- Completing work orders as delegated.
- Entering and closing-out work orders Onsite.
- Ability to use Outlook calendar.
- Using proper unit access processes such as knocking, maintenance door tags.
- Respecting residents' security and property by cleaning up and locking up after work has been completed.
- Documenting all service requests as requested to provide to office team.
- Training classes to stay updated on standards and practices.
- Maintaining clean and organized workshop.
- Following key check-in and check-out processes.
- Communicating any residential follow up or correspondence needed to either office or Manager.
- Reporting any emergency issues when sighted.
- Participating in regular cycle of all on-call and emergency maintenance calls and responding timely.
- Completing entire scope of work and communicating if otherwise before leaving.
- Completing work orders and daily tasks in a proficient manner.
Position Requirements:
- Must have own tools for plumbing,carpentry,electric and other required jobs.
- Ability to pass background check and drug test
- Availability to work on-call in rotation
- Possession of reliable transportation (Van or Truck preferred) , valid Insurance is a must.
- 2-5 Years' experience in residential maintenance or relevant trade
- Basic written and oral communication skills
- EPA Type 2 and Universal (Preferred/if applicable)
- HVAC Certification (Preferred/if applicable)
- Ability to sufficiently complete tasks and projects in timely manager
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Capability of accepting and completing tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs
- Take verbal and written instructions and apply in the field
- Passion for working with people with exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt in an ever-changing environment
