Multiple Shifts (Always Closed on Weekends):
1st shift: Mon-Fri (7:00am-3:30pm)
2nd shift: Mon-Thurs (2:30pm start time; 4, ten hour shifts)
Responsibilities:
-Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles (Experienced Mechanics).
-Repair and Service Customer Vehicles.
-Complete DOT Inspections and MVI Safety Inspections (Once Qualified).
-Road test repaired vehicles and Perform Quality Control Checks.
-Kohrs’ repair work consists of approximately 40% Light Duty (i.e. up to Ford F550, Chevrolet/GMC 5500, Ram 5500, etc.), and 60% Medium and Heavy Duty (up to Class 8 Trucks).
Qualifications:
-Two or more years experience as Light, Medium and Heavy Duty diesel truck mechanic is preferred but not required
-Driver License/Good Driving Record is a must
-CDL Class B is preferred but not required
-Attention to detail and a sense of pride and quality of work
-Candidate must be self-motivated
-Must be dependable and have a good work ethic
-Must have own tools
-Be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
