Description:
Our boutique accessories brand is seeking a motivated, hands-on individual to join our small workshop setting in Saint Louis County. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, pays attention to detail, and is eager to learn a new craft in a creative environment.
No leather experience necessary – we will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities Include:
Cutting and dyeing leather
Sanding and finishing edges
Skiving leather
Using basic cutting tools
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Assisting with production and small-batch runs
Preferred Skills:
Woodworking or maker background is a plus
Experience with basic shop tools (drill press, sander, etc.)
Strong attention to detail
Good hand-eye coordination
Willingness to learn and grow within the studio
Compensation:
$12/hour to start
Lots of room for growth for the right candidate
Opportunity to move into a more material and creative role over time
Hours may range from part-time to full-time depending on studio workload
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation
Must be punctual and responsible
Ability to work independently and take direction
