Sustainably scaling our operations is key to Square's strategy for expansion. As a software engineer on Justice Engineering, you will have the opportunity to understand and improve issues and inefficiencies faced by the Counsel and Risk Management teams. You will be responsible for designing, communicating, and implementing solutions to problems faced by many non-engineering teams within Square while collaborating with other engineering across Square.
You Will:
Collaborate with engineers across Square in the design of full-stack tools and services
Improve Counsel and Risk workflows to help keep Square safe
Automate manual tasks while maintaining a high level of security
Deep understanding and empathy for our customers
A technical background and passion for new technology
0-2 years hands-on experience programming and building software systems
Excellent collaborative and communication skills
Ability to discover and understand how something works
A desire to think outside of the box and provide different perspectives on approaching and solving problems
