Applications will be accepted up to 90 days after the posting date, or until the position is filled (whichever is first).Job Summary:We are seeking a high-caliber Sr. Manager of Procurement & Supply Chain, to join our Strategic Sourcing organization, based in the Company’s Broomfield, Colorado headquarters. This role will have high visibility with Sr Leadership and the Food and Beverage Center of Excellence, and report directly to the Sr. Director of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing. This position will primarily be responsible for leading the sourcing activities for all F&B spend across the North American resorts, and ensuring critical KPIs within the F&B supply chain are established and achieved through robust supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will deliver operational value through closely collaborating with internal business stakeholders and will lead a small team through a broad range of sourcing and supply chain activities to achieve results. Successful candidates will build long-lasting, strategic partnerships, and be well organized with strong communication skills to position themselves and Vail Resorts for sustained success. Expected Pay Range: The budgeted range starts at $89,100.00 - $120,000.00 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Ownership of developing and executing a multi-year sourcing and supply chain strategy that is focused on EBITDA value, program compliance, supplier management, and process improvement – Including the management of supplier contracts and leading commercial negotiations.

Partners with key business and functional stakeholders to manage key activities such as product demand management, menu/ordering guide preparation, season readiness, and in-season risk mitigation.

Develop and support key metrics (Supplier KPIs, Program Compliance, and Demand Management) to ensure we are meeting the critical needs of our operations.

Drive Supplier Relationship Management by developing a cadence for business activities including QBRs, monthly/weekly operational syncs, and internal supply chain reviews.

Develop your team, to ensure the proper skillsets are in place, and host an environment of continuous learning and improvement to ensure performance excellence.

Demonstrate an unyielding passion for the guest experience, culture, mission, and vision.

Essential Capabilities:

Demonstrated experience in leading strategic sourcing projects and multi-year category strategies from inception to implementation including strategic planning, negotiation, and contracting.

Experience with leading a team of operational and strategic team members across multiple sub-categories.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external senior stakeholders

Strong analytical skills and complex problem solving with the ability to develop pricing models appropriate for the goods/services being sourced

Financially oriented and can tie strategies and initiatives back to value

Develop leadership skills in others by coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and reinforcing best practices

Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude toward staff, co-workers, internal and external customers, and management

Education, Training & Experience:

B.S. in Business, Finance, Supply-Chain, or related field.

5+ years of progressive experience in Sourcing and/or Supply Chain with responsibilities in resort spend categories.

Understanding of the F&B and resort industries is a plus

Understanding of Supply Planning elements, tools & processes is a plus

Demonstrated project management experience, with great analytical, communication, and writing skills.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $89,100.00 - $120,000.00 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.Job Benefits
