Heres What Youll Get To Do
Move materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
Understand the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting.
Understand and apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
What Were Looking ForTo be considered for a Material Handler position, the following conditions must be met:
Follow all safety policies and procedures as a prerequisite to employment
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Able to write and do basic math
Basic computer skills or willing to learn
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must be able to work well with others
Must follow instructions
Self-motivated
Able to work in difficult weather conditions
Punctual and excellent attendance
Be available for overtime and emergency work
Physical Requirements
Able to stand on feet wearing safety boots from 8-10 hours a day
Ability to lift, carry, twist, walk, and reach constantly, and bend frequently
Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
