Job Title: Housekeeper
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and orderliness within our household. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to cleaning, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all surfaces.
2. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
3. Ensure all bedrooms are tidy, including making beds, changing linens, and organizing personal belongings.
4. Clean kitchen surfaces, appliances, and utensils, and assist with meal preparation and clean-up as needed.
5. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
6. Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with household guidelines.
7. Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as living rooms, dining rooms, and hallways.
8. Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks, such as cleaning windows, walls, and upholstery.
9. Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
10. Adhere to health and safety standards to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for household occupants.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a private residence.
2. Communication skills with other co-workers and managers required.
3. Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete all duties in a timely manner.
5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify areas in need of cleaning or maintenance.
6. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
8. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
9. Reliable transportation to commute to and from the job location.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification or training in housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
2. Familiarity with eco-friendly cleaning products and practices.
3. Experience working in high-end or luxury residences.
4. Knowledge of proper care and maintenance for delicate surfaces and materials.
