Creative company in the Flathead Valley of Montana, very near Glacier National Park, is looking for an experienced UI / UX Designer. The company is well established in the outdoor industry, so those with a love of nature and the outdoors fit in well.
Looking for someone with strong design skills / experience, UI development experience and a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. Also important is current knowledge about User Experience trends and best practices.

Responsibilities
⢠Design ecommerce and other non-transactional websites
⢠Working with high profile brands to help communicate the products and lifestyle they sell
⢠Work with the interface development team to produce sites that are highly optimized for fast delivery to all devices and environments
⢠Design sites that not only look great but operate smoothly and convert customers at a high rate
⢠Work with prototyping tools to build wireframes or working prototypes to collaboratively think through information architecture, as well as for use in UX testing
⢠Translate wireframes and UX design prototypes into refined designs that apply to all devices
⢠Work with customers to develop their digital brand strategy, thinking through how it is communicated and designing the space and flow that helps their users get the most from visiting the brandâs web site
⢠Collaborate with internal team to hand off to developers, ensuring that the finished product best represents the design intention
⢠Present design work iterations to clientsâworking through feedback and iterations to reach a final agreed upon design
⢠Communicate the design process to prospective clients during the sales process and at the onset of projects to set expectations
⢠When possible, working in light HTML & CSS to help make edits and complete design tasks
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus relevant interface design experience.
