As we continue to grow, we look for people dedicated to service and quality.Job Objective: The Facility Services Representative assists in providing exceptional customer service in the Medical Fitness Center. Serves as both a receptionist and public relations clerk at the front desk of Fitness Center.Responsibilities
Assists with the oversight of all aspects of the Fitness Facility including customer service, safety, programming, and cleanliness.
Maintains basic working knowledge of fitness equipment.
Maintains thorough knowledge of programs and services, and provides membership information for all customers.
Performs all necessary paperwork and data entry for new member sign-up and account maintenance.
Maintains working knowledge of club management software and other necessary computer applications.
Provides personalized, informative tours for each customer and proactively takes interest in understanding their goals and building a relationship with The Fitness Center.
Formulates nutritional replacement drinks as requested.
Replaces disposable supplies including, but not limited to; soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, trash linens, etc.
Cleans locker rooms daily including the showers, walls, floors, sinks, bathroom stalls, using acid and non-acid based chemicals
Cleans offices – including, but not limited to; disposes of garbage, dusts, vacuums, and wipes down the counters.
Assists fellow staff when necessary. Works as part of a cohesive team to ensure that The Fitness Center is always exceptionally clean for all facility uses.
Qualifications
Current HS AED CPR Certification (ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
Two (2) years’ experience in customer service required.
Strong public relations skills including a friendly enthusiastic personality, leadership, problem solving, empathy, and patience.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include Word, Outlook and Excel required. Club management software experience preferred. Ability to learn other software as needed.
Two (2) years’ experience in a fitness facility preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
Must be very conscientious and capable of working independently as well as constructively within a team.
Must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and possess ability to set priorities. Possess ability to use good judgment, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
