Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community.The Progressive Care Unit at St. Francis is a 33 bed unit, proudly being the primary stroke unit, along with a focus in cardiac and sepsis care. You will have the opportunity to build on your education and experiences in areas such as cardiac, telemetry, neurology, sepsis, and surgical care. We strive to provide a high level of care that allows our community and surrounding areas to receive healthcare close to home.Compensation : Base rate + shift differentialIncentives: $25,000 sign on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)Nurse Residency offered for all New GraduatesResponsibilities
Deliver care to patients
Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact.
Basic life support through American Heart Association is required upon hire.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire.
