Our Service Department is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:30 and is closed every weekend.
Responsibilities include:
Manage an efficient automotive Service Department, schedule appointments, provide estimates and quotes, ensure all service work is completed correctly in a timely manner, and more.
Greet customers and ascertain their needs.
Provide customers with information on services and products.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and document findings.
Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians.
Explain services and repairs to customers in a clear and concise manner.
Provide cost estimates for services and repairs.
Ensure maintenance and repairs are performed correctly
Maintain customer records and update customer information in the database.
Hire and manage automotive technicians, service advisors, and support personnel
Oversee employee training and development
Identify opportunities to improve performance and increase customer loyalty
Set and obtain sales objectives and control costs
Ensure proper equipment maintenance and a safe working environment
Qualifications - Experienced Auto Service Manager:
Automotive service management experience is required. Chevrolet experience is a plus!
Excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of automotive repair/ maintenance and dealership flow, and takes pride in satisfied customers.
Good leadership and management skills
Good customer service and customer/employee retention skills
Goal oriented and self-motivated to succeed
