Includes setup and monitoring of testing equipment while in operation. Prepares summary reports based on test results. Maintains records and files pertaining to laboratory activity. Assists in product research and with other related assignments.
Prepares reports summarizing test filter performance.
Performs analyses of contamination and samples taken during testing of oil, fuel, and hydraulic filters.
Performs paper media comparisons as requested.
Monitors test machinery during operation to ensure proper performance.
Is responsible for maintaining testing equipment and solutions. Includes setup of machinery, mixing quadrant and cleaning of machines.
Maintains records and test files.
Assists quality assurance personnel in testing paper.
Uses scales, Millipore filtration units, microscope, and specification testing equipment.
Performs other departmental responsibilities as assigned. May include assisting in research and department housekeeping.
Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
Required: High school education with science background.Preferred: Associate’s degree in chemistry and physical sciences with one year of work experience in a laboratory.Any deviations from the above requirements (e.g. substituting more work experience for required education) will be evaluated and approved by the Divisional Engineering Manager.This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders], or have refugee or asylee status).Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
