As a Lead Technology Project and Program Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing and executing complex, large-scale projects aimed at transforming our company infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, product development, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful planning, implementation, and delivery of technology transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will manage partner relationships and consultants needed for delivery of programs, demand intake and change management of programs. This position reports to VP, Project & Program Management.This is a remote position. #LI-RemoteYou Will:Strategic Leadership and Engagement
Support IT PMO team in creating and implementing the global GBS strategy and alignment with GBS IT stakeholders, business units, and partners.
Create and deliver compelling presentations for WK executives, other senior leaders, and customers.
Manage and coordinate product selections and work with vendor management on negotiation of contracts for the assigned division or business units.
Work with divisional management to develop long term strategy, and tactical plans to deliver highly visible divisional projects.
Facilitate the tracking and reporting on divisional and business units’ metrics, results, data modelling, processing, calculating and transformation into meaningful insights and reports.
Manage the development, maintenance, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Strategic Program Management
Accountable for the successful delivery of IT PMO programs and execution of aspects of project life cycle. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Work closely with engineering, product, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of technology transformation projects with overall business objectives
Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks in the technology transformation projects. Implement mitigation plans and escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary
Monitor project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
Establish quality standards and review mechanisms to ensure that the technology transformation projects meet the required performance, security, and reliability criteria
Collaborate with finance teams to provide accurate financial reporting related to cloud migration projects. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial data to support decision-making.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements, expectations, and concerns. Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate project progress, status, and outcomes.
Build trusted relationships with internal and external (GBS, Divisions/BU) stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Interface with GBS IT PMO demand and intake process for GBS IT and divisions.
Resource Management
Working with functional leaders ensure resource availability and allocation to required projects to reach objectives and help the functional leaders in managing resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Oversee optimization of resource pools (project-based versus dedicated role based) and how it aligns to PMO needs.
Manage ClickTime data tracking and developing meaningful actionable reports, as needed.
Assist in the development of business cases while working with the associated leaders.
Training and Coaching
Help with the development and compliance training programs and identifying external training courses.
Provide as needed end user training, application portfolio management, customize training to match PMO projects scope.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency gains in the technology transformation process
Stay abreast of the latest developments, trends, and best practices in infrastructure technologies and transformation strategies. Apply relevant insights to inspire creativity and maintain the company's competitive edge.
You Have:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
10-15 years-of demonstrated progressive experience in IT, Program management, resource management, change and transformation management.
4+ years’ experience with shared services model 3+ years management, enterprise-wide transition and/or transformation programs
Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager in infrastructure transformation
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex projects with diverse stakeholders
Strong technical understanding of infrastructure architecture, protocols, and technologies
Proven track record of collaborating with infrastructure service providers, carriers, and vendors to design and implement infrastructure transformation projects
Familiarity with negotiating contracts, managing service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining strong partnerships with external providers
Experience working with Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and Cloud-WAN technologies.
Experience with agile methodologies.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Travel requirements
