It isn’t a question.As a Sanitation Engineer at Haleon you will perform a variety of tasks to keep the site clean, including cleaning, maintaining, and operating equipment and technology. In this role, your daily responsibilities may include the following:
Cleaning: sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, cleaning windows, glass, and mirrors, and scrubbing walls, floors, lighting, vents and pipes. Driving or riding on auto scrubbers.
Sanitizing transition areas along with daily sanitization tasks.
Waste Management: collecting and disposing of waste, recycled materials and lab waste.
Hazardous materials: handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
Equipment Maintenance: maintaining equipment and supplies and inspecting equipment for compliance with standards.
Health and safety: Adhering to strict health and safety requirements and enforcing safety regulations.
Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules, reporting maintenance or repair issues, and ensuring company cleanliness standards are met.
Maintaining stocks of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are adequately stocked and in good working condition.
Gowning for clean zones: Distribution, return, sending out to be cleaned and gathering dirty gowning.
This role may require working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings as well as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Flexible work shifts are available, including day, evening, and night shifts, with the potential for weekend overtime as needed. You may also be required to work at both the Lincoln main facility and the Fletcher Warehouse location, depending on operational needs.

High school degree or equivalent.
Attention to detail and strong work ethic to ensure high-quality cleaning and sanitization.
Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift a minimum of 40lbs.
Good communications skills to interact effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a dependable team player.
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents.
Understanding of health and safety regulation and the ability to follow protocols and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Previous experience in sanitation or a related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of safety compliance.
Preferred knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMOs) and Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) including validation issues and change control process.
