Job duties include, but are not limited to:This dual role as a Veterinary Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant involves both client-facing and clinical responsibilities. You’ll help maintain the visual appeal of the hospital’s reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions, triage concerns, manage calls and emails, schedule appointments for optimal efficiency, and handle check-ins, check-outs, and payments.In addition, you’ll assist with patient care by restraining pets, triaging incoming cases, collecting and analyzing lab samples, performing diagnostic imaging, administering medications, and providing nursing care to hospitalized patients. Responsibilities also include communicating treatment plans effectively with clients, preparing for and assisting in surgery, and managing anesthesia.Our team members offer compassionate emotional support to clients and must be comfortable handling a variety of medical outcomes with professionalism and empathy.Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
