Cafe on the Square is looking for an experienced line cook in hopes to become a kitchen manager/head chef. We are looking for an individual who is motivated with a positive attitude willing to learn the current menu and help expand our menu with new refreshing ideas. We pride ourselves on quality food, eye appeal, and a quick turnaround. Someone who is easy to work with, knowledgeable, and looking for growth within the restaurant.
Currently, we are a 57 seat restaurant with the hopes of tripling in size in the next year or two. We are seeking an individual who is willing to help us get to expansion and help us expand our services. Seward, NE is 30 miles west of Lincoln, population of 7,000 and is known for the 4th of July City and also hosts a Christmas festival that has been growing every year. Seward has Concordia University which bring in lots of families throughout the week and also a supportive community. We are also a very popular stop from communities around us as they travel to and from Lincoln/Omaha.
