Camp Bow Wow Lincoln is a Premier Dog Day and Overnight Camp that provides a fun, safe, and upscale environment for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention! We are seeking Camp Counselors that have a genuine love of dogs, are energetic, enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable team members. Brand new location!
We are hiring for Full-time & and Part-time. We do work with school schedules.
Job Description: A Camp Counselor is an active individual that has a desire to safely handle and care for dogs on a day-to-day basis. Successful candidates will be positive individuals with strong time-management, communication, and multitasking skills.
Job Requirements:
* Passion for the care of dogs.
* Strong work ethic
* Available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 pounds
* Have access to reliable means of transportation
* Previous pet care or animal experience is a plus
* Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Minimum age requirement 18+ years old
* Be a person of integrity and commitment
* Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments in an open play environment
* Dependable and punctual
Job Duties:
* Have fun with dogs!
* Provide all dogs with kindness and respect at all times
* Ensure the safety of all of our campers by following strict operations policies
* Ensure a clean and sanitary facility by completing various cleaning duties
* Provide excellent customer service
* Communicating effectively with peers and leadership
* Demonstrate a positive, fun attitude
