Agile Sports Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Hudl seeks multiple Data Engineers in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Responsibilities: The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing technical software solutions in Hudl’s data space. Duties include: reading and navigating through a large code base and data models to help effectively debug code; Writing code for Hudl’s data and analytics platforms in SQL, Python, Spark, Terraform, Jinja, and others as needed, including existing data models via DBT, third party ETL software, and various data migration services (Glue, Lambda, DMS), and data storage mechanisms in AWS (Redshift, S3, RDS); Monitoring all aspects of the administration of the AWS environment including networking, security, access management, and tool administration for the various tools we use to develop data reliable data pipelines; Preparing documentation of development process, test documentation, and project specifications; Consulting with Hudl’s engineers on identification of problems and suggest solutions for the resolution of coding issues; Pivoting to use new technologies and techniques and adapt to dynamic business requirements; Analyzing our clients’ needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Lincoln, NE.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 5 years of experience in job offered or related positions. Other special requirements include: 5 years of experience with application maintenance and support; 5 years of experience completing coding, code reviews, test planning, test documentation, and testing; 5 years of experience with enhancement of existing applications and developing modules as per client needs; and 5 years of experience with impact analysis and preparing functional requirement and detailed design documents.
