Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks Identity Access Mgmt. Manager.

Responsibilities: Responsible for analyzing and designing Ameritas’ information technology to ensure the organization is efficiently managing its technology and data-related assets in accordance with market best-practices and external regulations. The Identity Access Mgmt. Manager will develop, communicate, implement, enforce, and monitor security controls to protect the organization’s technology assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction. Specifically, this position will be responsible for: managing the life cycle of digital identities in alignment of regulatory requirements and industry best practices; establishing processes to manage user access requests; maintaining technology platforms and tools supporting IAM processes; ensuring that user provisioning and identity & access management is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of new hardware, software applications, and systems architecture; overseeing the development, standardization, and implementation of processes supporting user access to digital information according to regulatory requirements and best practices; coordinating integration efforts with business partners on a regular basis and providing coaching and guidance to team members and others within the organization; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: Five (5) years of experience in job offered or related position. Other special requirements include: Five (5) years of experience performing data validation and implementing quality control measures to ensure the continued success of programs; five (5 ) years of experience designing and maintaining data systems and databases using IAM; five (5) years of experience collaborating with programmers and business users to implement quality control strategies; and five (5) years of experience designing, implementing and supporting Identity and Access Management solutions for large enterprise systems using AD, LDAP, SAML, REST APIs, OIDC and WS Federation.
