We’re expanding our team and are looking for a skilled Auto Technician to join us.
Job Description:
As an Auto Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. You’ll work with a variety of makes and models, ensuring that all repairs are done according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellent service.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and HVAC.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle issues.
Provide customers with clear and accurate explanations of vehicle conditions and repairs.
Maintain an organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
Keep accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficiency and quality.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an auto technician or mechanic.
ASE certification (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and electronic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.
