Job Summary:
EnerLux Windows and Doors is a manufacturer of high-performance fiberglass windows and sliding patio doors. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in carpentry and general construction with a mechanical aptitude to service and repair our products in the field. Window/Door service and repair experience a plus but not required. This position involves traveling to various locations to provide maintenance and repair services for our products and requires attention to detail.
Duties:
- Perform repairs of our products in the field that include deglazing and glazing glass, operator (handles, other hardware) replacements, product adjustments for proper operation and various other tasks to ensure our products meet the customer's expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Travel to various locations, including remote areas, to provide service and support.
- Other plant manufacturing duties as determined.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and climbing.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel extensively and stay away from home for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Weekends as needed
Willingness to travel: Up to 50% (Required)
