I have a list of repairs I need to complete in my home. They include:
1. Water softener was installed 2-years ago and never worked properly. I sought 3 estimates to fix the issue but none provided a fix. All wanted to install a new softener, lowest estimate was $4,330. If nothing else, I would just have it removed. Not that important to me.
2. I have been fighting a clogged dryer vent for 2 years. Two teams came over and ran their equipment. Worked for a couple of weeks and then I am back to replacing the panty hose, again. And again. Probably will require a trip up into the attic. The dryer still vents into the house.
3. My home is on a slab. All tile and engineered wood floors. This is an issue for me only because the fireplace needs to be removed or blocked off. When it snows, it snows in front of my fireplace. Ruined the wood. The draft is terrible. I want to put tile over, or in place of the weed.
4. If you are a talented carpenter, I have 2 additional projects in mind. However, I would want to help with them. VERY specific dimensions and space issues involved.
Nothing is critical at this time. I would like to schedule a time to meet that is convenient for both of us.
