Manage, maintain, support, and optimize three client-server systems in a classified environment. Use effective analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to resolve issues and inform leadership on health, growth, status, and potential issues for all three systems
The system administrator will also work closely with both STRATCOM and STRATCOM-supported personnel and contractors to maintain and optimize on all three systems.
Provides analytical and technical security recommendations to other team members, oversight boards, and clients
Identifies requirements, based on need or as the result of a security issue that puts the organization's systems at risk
Meets with clients and management to help specify and negotiate application security requirements, reviews current policies and procedures for applicability, and system OS security patch levels, and ensures safe transition of applications to production
Develop, debug, test, and support the certification process
Create, maintain, and document security baselines
Evaluate and recommend secure remote configurations
Liaison with the Enterprise Architect, WAN, LAN, and Enterprise Management Teams to effectively communicate and architect security solutions
Develops documentation to support ongoing security systems operations, maintenance, and specific problem resolution
Works with and coordinates appropriate IT staff to implement solutions that will meet or exceed customer expectations
Provide risk analysis for vulnerabilities, incidents, and change requests
Functions as technical lead during a security incident response
Ensure that the design of hardware, operating systems, and software applications adequately address security requirements for the Computing Environment (CE) including testing cybersecurity mitigations
Development and production of RMF documentation for Secret, Top Secret, and JWICS networks
Conduct network and system security audits, evaluate how well the system conforms to a set of established criteria
Analyze policies for effectiveness, make suggestions on security policy improvements, and work to enhance methodology material
Document findings, write security reports, and discuss solutions with IT teams and management
Perform security and technical assessments on new technologies and generate "Best Practices" for implementations of new technologies
Establish and sustain information security assurance processes that satisfy complex system-wide requirements

Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS w/SCI and SAP eligibilityCertifications: Possess an 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification. (Security+, GSEC, etc)Education: High School DiplomaWork Location : On site full timeYears of experience: 20 years of related experience, 8 of which supporting the DoD of a technical nature in systems administration, requirements, system security analysis, and mediation including:
Extensive Linux knowledge/experience
Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages
System administration hardware, and software configuration/management for Microsoft Office and Red Hat Linux environments
Strong knowledge of database practices, database organization, operations, and objectives
System knowledge of Cisco or other switch configurations and management
Preferred Experience:Education and Experience:
Master’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD
Bachelor’s degree and at least 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD
Experience supporting USSTRATCOM weapon systems and/or capabilities (desired)
Preferred Experience with MS Active Directory, RH Management program, MS Windows, and RHEL 7/8 operating systems
System knowledge of Cisco or other switch configurations and management
