The Scoular Company in Omaha, Nebraska seeks an Operations Project Manager.
Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing all projects related to the Feed & Food Division. The Operation Project Manager facilitates the performance expectations for feed transloading, mixing, and delivery of Scoular owned feed through the Operations team. Specific duties for this position include: identifying and prioritizing facility improvement requirements; organizing and implementing PM programs for the production facility; working with GM, D365, and FP&A teams, developing and implementing a plan to track plant performance and establishing critical KPIs for the processing operation; working with the GMs, contract engineers, and plant managers, performing a bottleneck assessment and identifying areas for increased throughput; supporting the GM and Division leadership in critical areas of operations, including the Emerge BU; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Domestic travel required 25% of the time.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Other special requirements include: three (3) years of experience directing production, processing, distribution, or marketing activities for an industrial facility or organization; three (3) years of experience developing and coordinating capital investment projects involving equipment, maintenance, or the improvement of production facilities; and three (3) years of experience supervising and coaching plant managers on safety conditions, training and preventive maintenance programs, and turnover reduction.
