OverviewCHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine are seeking a quality driven, patient–centered Anesthesiologist to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska . The practice offers the ability to work alongside colleagues, teach medical students and surgery residents while practicing and directing CRNAs in a full-spectrum practice. This opportunity is well-suited for physicians seeking a diverse practice, including trauma.This opportunity offers:

Team of 18 FT physicians and 45 CRNA's

391 bed - Level I Trauma Center

Academic Facility

Care team model with medical direction of CRNAs

Accreditation in process for Anesthesia residency program and SRNA program

Wide variety of cases including General, Trauma, Ortho, Endo, Vascular, Urology, OB, Neuro and Cardiac

Acute Pain Service

EPIC EMR

Academic appointment available, if desired, from Creighton University School of Medicine

Team covers main CUMC campus in addition to CHI Midlands Health Ambulatory Surgery Center

Job Requirements:

Comfortable Supervising CRNA's

ABA Board certified or Board eligible

Ability to obtain Nebraska Licensure

ACLS and BLS certification

Patient Care:

Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.

Participate in ongoing medical education and training.

Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty

A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
