Azure DevOps Engineer

CATCH Intelligence  is a Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics, and Data Warehouse consulting firm based in the Midwest. We help business transform raw data into information, information into knowledge, and knowledge into plans that drive profitable action! We are   currently looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team! Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and develop solutions.

Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Manage and monitor Azure resources and services to ensure availability and performance.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with company policies.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure deployment issues.

Ability to work independently, resolve issues, learn new technologies, and develop best practices for new and existing projects.

High sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives to deliver competitive advantages with cloud hosting.

Assisting clients with application architecture design, assessment and optimization including definition, documentation and implementation of new architectures.

Develop documentation for security, automation, and support.

Develop and maintain multi-region cloud solutions for high availability applications.

Leverage NIST security guidelines as a framework to developing and securing infrastructure and data services.

Required Skills consist of but are not limited to:

Proven experience provisioning Azure services.

Strong understanding of Azure services, including VMs, Storage, Azure SQL, and Network Service Groups.

Experience with Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

3 yrs experience implementing Cloud-based projects.

Research new technologies and prototype solutions that can be leveraged to decrease costs, and increase performance.

Experience maintaining and monitoring cloud services.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to have skills include:

Azure Certifications (AZ-104 and/or AZ-305).

Familiarity with cloud security best practices.

Experience with Azure Virtual Desktops.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.

Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Experience implementing highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability.

Experience defining governance, standards, and resource tags.

Experience with Microsoft Active Directory

Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell
