Responds to patient calls, anticipates patient needs, and assures patient
safety and comfort through regular rounds, environmental maintenance and other
appropriate safety measures.2.
Records vital signs and intake and output when requested into the patient
record and/or computer. Reports any changes observed in the condition or
behavior of patients and any unusual incidents/problems.3.
Performs nursing procedures which do not require the skill/knowledge or
judgement of a licensed professional and which may be safely delegated in
accordance with nursing policies and procedures. 4.
Prepares and assists patients with meals. Feeds patients as
directed. Distributes nourishments and drinking water.5.
Assures patient privacy while providing personal and routine care.6.
Establishes and maintains professional interpersonal relationships with
patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel while assuring confidentiality
of patient information.7.
Offers to assist co-workers and all team members to complete work assignments.8.
Participates in patient care conferences and contributes to planning patient
care.9.
Demonstrates the ability to perform in an accurate and precise manner in crisis
and emergency situations.10.
Assists in the admission, discharge, and transfer process as directed.DISCLOSURESTATEMENT: The

position.QUALIFICATIONS: Education&/or Licensure Required:Must
be at least 16 years of age.Must
be on the Nurse Aide Registry of the State in which they work.BLS
or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire. Experience .Preferred: Six months
experience in an acute care hospital or skilled care facility in the acute care
area.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability
to organize and prioritize work. Job requires individual and group
interaction. Job requires continuous verbal communication skills,
