Provides services in accordance with CHI Health’s commitment to caring for those affected by violence including sexual assault/abuse/domestic violence/human trafficking in our communities. Provides services which encompass the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care of the sick, prevention of disease, or conservation of health. The position contributes to the mission and core values of CHI Health.

Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.

Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors. Completes an initial evaluation of patient needs and injuries. Completes sexual assault and domestic violence medical and evidentiary exam and collects forensic evidence when requested by the patient.

QualificationsGraduate of a RN nursing program with a minimum of two years acute care experience.Trauma Informed Care education preferred upon hireActive RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.Basic life support is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Heart Association: Basic Life SupportSexual Assault Nurse Examiner Certification required within 3 months of hire.Pay Range$36.00 - $52.50 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
