To support that challenge, Syngenta is currently seeking a HSE Environmental Engineer in Omaha, Nebraska.This role will set direction by monitoring plant procedures and processes to ensure compliance and conformity to OSHA, EPA, federal, state and local regulations.  Accountabilities Optimize potential by analyzing incidents to improve plant safety and environmental performanceProvide a creative work environment for the development and delivery of training programs and create edge through involvement with all site employees.Assure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state and local regulations by auditing production units and labs.Develop and deliver training to site relating to HSES topicsComplete environmental reporting to meet external and internal requirements.Review incident reports, identify and communicate trends to stakeholders.Write/review/revise Plant Safety and Environmental ProceduresCoordinate/lead Incident Analysis Teams for significant plant incidents and near misses.Serve as resource to site Safety Teams, resident contractors, and plant functional areas.Lead PRA (Process Risk Assessments) at site.Coordinate the Water treatment certification/recertification training for the certified wastewater technicians with the NDEQ.
