Millwork Assembler

Job Title: Millwork AssemblerJob DescriptionPerform operations to produce doors. Assemble parts and sub-assemblies with hand or power tools and work at different workstations as product needs require. Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plans and implements the assembly process by reading and understanding set-up sheets/work orders.

Insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts and use of both hand and saws.

Ensures that assembled items meet specific quality and specification by measuring and marking materials.

Perform quality checks on materials for defects or damages.

Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 90 Day(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.Work EnvironmentWork is in a warehouse setting and may be performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels, and dust. Have clear, close vision for reading and computer work, measurements, assembly of parts and visual acuity to operate power tools. Repetitive motion of the wrists and hands may require reaching at or above shoulder level and below waist. Must be able to safely squat, bend, climb, lift/carry up to 80 lbs., push/pull up to 70 lbs., grasp, talk, hear, and stand/walk for prolonged periods.
