Together, we can make a positive impact on our communities and play a vital role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure.Our Bridge structural design group works on a wide range of projects including bridge rehabilitation, widening, new and reconstruction, inspections, load ratings, as well as construction phase engineering services for bridge contractors. We complete designs on transportation projects that include grade separations, interchanges, and stream crossings for public and private clients throughout the Midwest. Beyond bridges, the team is regularly provides structural design support to other teams and projects across the firm. These tasks include a range of heavy civil structures such as; retaining walls, hydraulic control structures for dams and canals, stormwater structures, and traffic structures.As a Project Manager, you will be a lead project manager for our Bridge team, ensuring successful project deliverables and completion for complex and high-priority projects that may span across multiple teams. You will also provide direction to the Bridge team and ensure quality execution of key projects that provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs. You will be instrumental in expanding our client base and growing our bridge group. You will take charge of supervising and nurturing the professional and technical growth of team members. Your emphasis on mentorship will contribute to a culture that values skill development, collaboration, and collective success.We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Des Moines, IA; Lincoln, NE; or Omaha, NE office location.QualificationsYou are passionate about:

Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
Master’s degree, or in pursuit, a plus
8+ years of relevant engineering experience
Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE)
Preferred
Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
Involvement with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX)
Experience with Iowa DOT or NDOT Bridge projects
Familiarity with MicroStation software
