AECOM is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor with a focus on investigation and remediation programs for the US Federal Government. The candidate may work remotely within the United States.Responsibilities of this position, include the following:Utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, practices and existing/emerging technologies to develop technical solutions to complex investigation and remediation problems.Serving as a senior technical advisor for investigation and remediation projects with scope elements that include: site inspections, remedial investigations, risk assessments, feasibility studies, technology demonstrations (bench/pilot studies), and remedial design for a variety of environmental contaminants and impacted media, with a particular emphasis on PFAS.Advising on public outreach and community involvement for CERCLA facilities.Through technical oversight, driving Department performance to meet and/or exceed client satisfaction and client objectives while meeting and/or exceeding internal key performance indicators (Department margin goals, etc.).Developing and formulating solutions to client problems/issues and acting as a point of escalation for project issues.Preparing technical presentations and communications to share technical expertise and project data interpretations with internal project teams and external project stakeholders.Serving as Lead Verifier on projects where not the technical lead, confirming that the technical approach satisfies the client scope and services and expectations.Helping coordinate and develop responses to applicable research funding requests from Federal, State, or private entities to include SERDP/ESTCP.Limited travel may be required.
