Join our team at the top manufacturing company in Omaha!Location: Omaha, NEDescription :A well-established manufacturer has an immediate opening for a MIG welder. You will be MIG welding in various departments. You will weld metal components together to fabricate products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders using a variety of welding processes include MIG and flux core arc welding. Candidates must possess 6 months to 2 years of welding experience.Hours :
1st : Monday - Friday 7:00AM-4:30PM
2nd : Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:00PM
3rd: Monday - Friday 11PM - 7AM
Pay :$22.88 to 29.33/HourResponsibilities:
Fuse or weld metal structural components together by means of arc welding in the fabrication of steel electrical poles, substations, and other structures
Perform welding operations requiring a limited amount of planning of work from blueprints or other written specifications and determining operation sequence
Utilize all safety devices and wear all mandatory personal protective safety equipment
Adjust welding equipment to its prescribed settings
Maintain and operate production tooling and fixtures as well all welding equipment in a safe and secure manner
Read and complete labor reporting system, standard shop forms, and blueprints
Performs minor welding machine maintenance (i.e. tips, liners, gas cups)
Qualifications :
At least 6 months to 2 years of welding experience
Also, will consider someone with a technical welding degree from a trade school
MIG, TIG, and Flux Core
Candidates will be performing MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components
Ability to read the tape measure & blueprints
