POSITION & PROPERTY DETAILS: The Executive Chef position is a professional leader in the restaurant who is able to ensure a profitable and efficient kitchen & banquet operation through innovative menus, excellent product quality, product safety, and staff training.
The Executive Chef position at Minervas/Arrowwood Okoboji would be pairing with a SOLID, EXPERIENCED, and ESTABLISHED management team, with both a hands-on Food & Beverage Director and Hotel General Manager already on-site. In addition, a Banquet Chef and Kitchen Line Supervisor are already in place. We value SUPPORT & TEAM at Minervas Okoboji!
At Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center in Okoboji, IA, RENOVATION is the name of the game in 2019! Our teams have begun renovations in our convention spaces; in addition, we have already finished updates in the Minervas Restaurant & Bar AND auxiliary spaces.
JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS: A qualified individual has at least four (4) years of previous kitchen experience, as well as two (2) years in a similar-style Executive Chef management position.
This Person MUST Be Able To:
Ensure product quality of all restaurant's recipes and standards
Maintain an efficient, trained, and well-coached staff
Maintain a well-organized, cost-efficient, and structured kitchen
Develop and execute proper Feature Programs for restaurant
Budget, monitor, and control labor cost daily
Work and function as a TEAM with other players in management structure
