Hotel is looking for an Executive Housekeeper to join their team!
Qualifications:
Ability/Experience to supervise 10-30 employees in the Housekeeping Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to complaints or inquiries from groups of managers, customers, employees and general public
Responsibilities:
Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping and laundry staff including safety, usage of chemicals, cleaning, storage etc. Plans work schedules to ensure adequate service and within budgeted labor guidelines.
Monitors chemical systems and usage of the laundry and cleaning procedures to ensure cost control.
Maintains MSDS sheets and educates staff on safety protocols. Inspects guestrooms daily, may assist in cleaning guest rooms, or doing laundry as needed.
