Pipe Superintendent
As a Pipe Superintendent within our Sewer/Water Construction division, your primary responsibility will be overseeing an underground utility crew on the construction of sanitary, water, storm sewer and lift station projects throughout the Omaha Metropolitan area. This position is a working superintendent where hands on supervision is a requirement.
Requirements
Over 3 years of experience leading a crew in sanitary, water and storm sewer installation and/or building concrete
structures such as box culverts and storm sewer structures
Must be able to independently lead, manage and train a 4 – 6 person crew
Ability to manage projects safely and efficiently
Plan and perform all work under all OSHA standards
Ability to ready construction drawings and blueprints
Must maintain professionalism throughout each project during interactions with city employees, owners, engineers
and the public.
Responsible for entering and tracking manhours worked and production quantities daily (Procore experience a plus)
Responsible for the daily safety of your crew and maintaining a safe working environment
Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
Monitor costs, including labor time and material
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team when carrying loads heavier than 50 pounds
Ability to complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily
Ability to pass a pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
