QAT Global, a 25+ year IT Consulting group based in Omaha, is seeking a SQL Server DBA for a client based in Omaha, Ne. Our client is an organization which is in the business of commodity trading. We are adding functionality to their custom commodity trading application. We need to add a dedicated DBA to round out our team of Developers and testers. We envision this role to be multiple years in duration. We also have other clients utilizing SQL Server.
Position will join our team providing SQL Server DBA activities such as:
Configure and maintain Windows Cluster/SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups
Create/migrate and deploy databases
Create and maintain database backup, maintenance and restore plans
Manage SQL Server and database security
Create automation for repeating database tasks
Monitor and troubleshoot performance related issues
Test disaster recovery scenarios
Export and import data between databases/servers along with file imports
Create tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and report queries
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5+ Years of SQL Server DBA experience.
1-3+ years of Experience with versions SQL Server 2017
Solid experience writing stored procedures.
