Job description
```Duties```
- Set up and operate manual milling machines to perform precision machining operations, line boring and honing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Use hand tools, such as micrometers, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Fabricate and modify parts as needed
- Work with various materials
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
```Qualifications```
- Proficient in manual machining techniques and operation of milling machines, boring heads, line hones, and basic engine rebuilding equipment
- Strong knowledge of aluminum machining is highly desirable
- Familiarity with TIG welding is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with honing equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
