Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service while ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods or passengers. This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to maintain a positive rapport with clients.
Duties
Safely operate various types of vehicles including vans, box trucks, and limousines for deliveries or passenger transport.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers or clients as needed during transport.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Manage delivery schedules effectively to ensure timely arrivals.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Experience
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
Experience in customer service roles will enhance interactions with clients.
Familiarity with driving school buses, shuttles, or hospitality-related transport services is a plus.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Experience operating larger vehicles such as box trucks or limousines is beneficial.
