Expected hours: 40 per week + Overtime
Work Location: In person
Job Title: Trailer Technician
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am-4:30 pm, Sat 7:00 am-11:00 am.

Job Duties:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and modifications of the following:
ABS brake systems
Drum & disc brake systems
Wheel ends
Air & Electrical systems
DOT Inspections
Diagnose & provide recommendations on repairs
Accurately record description & hours of all work performed on ROs
Learn and follow Greater Omaha Express’s best practices for correct & efficient repairs
Operate shop equipment
Maintain a clean & safe working environment
Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements
Mechanical background in heavy-duty trucking industry or similar field
Positive attitude and team player
Ready to work at the start of the shift
Able to move trailers in & out of the shop with a yard truck
Valid Driver’s License & a satisfactory MVR
Ability to pass post-offer physical & drug screen
